Karla Cota, MS, LPC, CMHC

Karla Cota holds a Master of Science in Psychology with an Emphasis in General Psychology. Karla earned my Bachelor of Art in Christian Studies in 2013, and Master of Science in Psychology in 2017 from Grand Canyon University. Karla has worked with youth and adult clients in residential and rehabilitation settings for 8 years. Karla has experience focused on crisis intervention, mentor crisis management for parents/guardians, lead therapy groups, development of social skills, problem-solving, decision making skills, trauma, multiculturalism, gender, and sexual minorities, co-occurring disorder, healthy relationship dynamics, identify formation, forgiveness, anger management, Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and a complex range of disorders and treatment needs.
